The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is pleased to announce that as of May 3, 2023, stakeholders will be able to access select Veterinary Biologics (VB) services on My CFIA.

These services include VB establishment licence/registration and VB product licensing modules for:

• Canadian and foreign VB manufacturers,
• Canadian commercial importers, and
• Canadian subsidiaries representing foreign manufacturers.

Veterinary Biologics stakeholders are encouraged to sign up now for a My CFIA account to apply, track and pay for your application. Check with your business or organization to see if you already have an account or go here to sign up. Real time, step-by-step assistance, is available within the platform to help ensure users provide all of the necessary information required for enrolment. This tool also provides answers to common questions and links to commonly accessed webpages from the Agency website.

This new online application in My CFIA is part of the Agency’s goal to modernize its services and enable self-service through digital tools.

My CFIA is a secure and convenient online way to do business with the Agency. By signing up for a My CFIA profile, users can access a growing number of CFIA services, including:

• submitting applications securely, anytime, from anywhere
• tracking the status of applications
• paying fees online
• receiving CFIA-issued permissions online
